Buyers and Investors: As you browse the site, you will see that I got my start in real estate prior to retiring from the Army. I began investing in rental properties in the Olympia area in 1997, and became a real estate agent as a logical step in building the investment business. I currently own and operate, with my brother and two sons, an investment company called Sharp & Sharp Holdings LLC (SSHLLC). Sharp and Sharp currently owns and manages more than twenty properties, and buys and sells (Flips) approximately 6 homes per year. We also operate a General Contracting business, described below. My day to day business activities are solely focused on buying, marketing, and selling local residential and investment properties for my clients and for my family business. I am not a part time realtor, nor am I moonlighting at this….Real Estate is my Profession. How difficult is it to Buy a Home? We coordinate lenders and title companies, negotiate on your behalf, schedule and attend inspections, the list goes on…. SSHLLC is the parent company of Sharp & Sharp Holdings (Contracting), formed in 2005 around the existing employees of SSHLLC. With a skilled crew of six, and affiliations with a comprehensive list of sub-contractors, Sharp & Sharp Contracting has five homes in construction, 45 acres in development, and has completed more than 700K in remodel/renovation work in 2006. 2007 looks to be shaping up even better than 2006, with many ongoing projects, and new opportunities presenting themselves everyday. Phil Sharp Joins Abbey Real Estate Inc. Phil has been a realtor in the Olympia area for six years, and has also been an active investor, builder, and developer for almost twice as long. As a retired United States Army First Sergeant, Phil wore two hats until recently, building his business as an agent investor, and serving his country as the Ft. Lewis Army Garrison First Sergeant.
Phil, on the investment and development front, is doing great things. His investment company is called “Sharp and Sharp Holdings LLC”, specializing in residential and commercial investment, development and construction. He has built a business that is far ranging, and has incorporated all aspects of the lending, investment and building community into his portfolio, he is always eager to share his knowledge of the investing market and network with anyone, and loves to provide guidance and advice.
While still in the Army, Phil worked with an investor specialist at Abbey Realty. This relationship and mentoring led to him becoming a licenced agent in order to facilitate transactions for his business and his business partners. With real estate as the focal point, Phil continues to grow his "Sharp Enterprise" with his brother and two grown sons. The four of them all share in and operate various aspects of the family business; allowing Phil to maintain his focus on sales and marketing, and bring all of the resourses mentioned above to bear as he serves his clients as one of the most respected investor specialists in Thurston County.
